Taylor Curado

Taytay's faceTaylor is a Colorado Native who grew up in Highlands Ranch, a suburb located thirty minutes south of Denver. She has spent the bulk of her life competing in the sport she loved most: swimming. She primarily swam sprint distances of Butterfly and Freestyle. Taylor reached high altitudes of success in swimming that had taken her to compete in many Junior National and National Championships since the age of 16. She chose to take her sport to the next level of competition, which lead her to begin her college career at Rutgers University in New Jersey. She spent three years on the East Coast specializing in Sports Management, where she then found herself at San Jose State University to conclude her final two years as a collegiate athlete and graduate with a degree in Communication Studies.
In the short amount of time Taylor has been in the Bay Area, she already considers it home. She was introduced to Crossfit primarily when she joined the team at San Jose State under Coach Sage Hopkins. It has quickly become her new found passion. She is very eager to gain knowledge and understanding on becoming an elite coach and athlete in the sport of Crossfit.
