"As someone who had never lifted weights before, I was a little intimidated by CrossFit at first. I was always more of a runner/hiker/stairmaster type who climbed and backpacked on occasion. Right away, however, at my first CrossFit workout, it became obvious that I had nothing to be intimidated about. My favorite things about CrossFit are how efficient the workouts are (you push yourself harder than you've ever pushed, but then it's done in 20-30 minutes), the diversity of exercises and the fact that you never do the same workout twice, and the noticeable results.
